Booking and payment at the smartHOTEL
How can i book a room at the smartHOTEL?
You can book rooms through our Website, via eMail or over the phone.
Is your online booking form secure?
Entered informaton in our online booking form is secure via SSL. If you prefer to give us your credit card details over the phone, via eMail or fax you can do this also.
Do I need a credit card to secure the booking?
No, you can pay in advance cia bank transfer as well.
Will may credit card be charged if I make a booking?
Yes, we will charge 30% of the accommodation amount as deposit to secure your reservation with us.

Which payment options do you have?
We accept cash, maestro, visa and mastercard. Please note, a surcharge of 1.6% will apply.
Do I receive a confirmation of my online booking?
Of course, you will receive aconfirmation for every booking.
Is it possible to book for a larger group?
For group bookings, we kindly ask you to contact the Front Desk through eMail or phone.
Service at the smartHOTEL
Is there a shuttle service?
Upon request, we do offer a shuttle service for a fee. For more information, please contact us over the phone or via e-mail.
What are the opening hours of the Front Desk?
Our Front Desk is open daily from 07:30 am to 9:00 pm.
We reserve the right to change the opening hours of our Front Desk according to low seasons requirements.
What are the Check In & Check Out times?
Check In is possible from 4.00 PM onwards. On your departure day, we kindly ask you to leave your room for cleaning purposes until 09.30 AM.
Is smoking allowed in the smartHOTEL?
Our rooms are non-smoking but you can smoke outside on the balcony or terrace.
Are pets allowed?
We do welcome pets in the smartHOTEL. A surcharge of € 10.00 per pet/day applies.
Where can I park?
The smartHOTEL offers a big free of charge parking space near the cable car station (approx. 500 meters walking distance). Of course, you can park your car in front of the Hotel for arrival and departure purposes.
Is there a supermarket nearby?
Yes, the SPAR supermarket is only 5 minutes walking distance from the smartHOTEL.
Will the rooms be cleaned?
Our Hotel rooms will be cleaned every two days.
How far away ist he cable car station?
The next cable car is FULSECK approx. 500 meters walking distance.
Do you have a wellness area?
Unfortunately, we do not have a wellness area nor a swimming pool. What we do have is a small Sauna and a steam bath, which our guests can use complimentary.
We kindly ask you to bring your own bath shoes.
What are the opening hours oft he Restaurant? Do we have to reserve a table?
Our restaurant is open daily as follows:
Breakfast: 07:30 am to 09:30 am
Dinner: 06:00 pm to 09:00 pm

Do you have a bar in the Hotel?
Yes, we do have a bar in the Hotel close to the restaurant and the Front Desk.
Is there an elevator in the Hotel?
We do have an elevator in the smartHOTEL.
Is it possible to wash clothes?
Unfortunately, we do not offer an opportunity to wash your clothes in house.
Can we buy ski passes in the Hotel?
Of course, you can buy ski passes directly at the Front Desk.
Do you have a children’s playroom?
We have a small room with board games for children in the basement of the smartHOTEL.
Where is the nearest ski rental?
Our partner for hiring ski equipment is Sport Egger in Dorfgastein directly at the cable car station. As smartHOTEL guest you will receive 5% discount with your key card.
Where is the next ski school?
We do work together with Ski school Holleis as well as Ski school Angerer in Dorfgastein. For more information and rates, please contact the ski schools directly.
Is there an iron/ironing board available in the Hotel?
Please, contact the Front Desk if you need any of these items.
Equipment at the smartHOTEL
Is there Wi-Fi available?
We do offer complimentary Wi-Fi in the hotel rooms and in all public areas.
How are the rooms equipped?
All our Hotel rooms are equipped with balcony, bath with shower or tub, toilet, safe, complimentary Wi-Fi, phone & cable/SAT TV with flatscreen.
Is there a hair dryer in the room?
Every room is equipped with a hair dryer in the bathroom.
Are there bath robes and bath shoes available?
We do have a limited amount on bath robes to borrow, but we du suggest to bring your own. We do not have bath shoes available.
Is there a towel change available?
The hand and bathing towels will be exchanged every two days during the maid service. However, we do offer an additional change for a small fee.
Change and cancel a booking
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Of course, you can change of cancel your booking any time. Please, refer tot he cancellation policy for any fees which might occur.
Which cancellation conditions apply in the smartHOTEL?
We operate on the terms and conditions of the Austrian Hotel Association from 2006 which state:
- up to 3 months prior to arrival – no charge
- 3 months up to 1 month prior to arrival – 40% of the accommodation amount will be charged
- 1 month up to 1 week prior to arrival – 70% of the accommodation amount will be charged
- In the last week and No Show – 90% of the accommodation amount will be charged
Do you offer a cancellation insurance?
We do suggest to finalise a cancellation insurance prior to your visit. Our partner Europäische Versicherung has two very good packages available.
